This Backyard Bird Has a Lot to Teach Us about Sex Variability White-throated Sparrows demonstrate that traits we usually associate with sex can be influenced by genes that are not on sex chromosomes

The white-stripe morphs, male & female, act in a way that is stereotypically "masculine" (loud elaborate songs, more aggressive) with tan-stripe morphs, regardless of gonads, acting more "feminine" (nurturing young).

Their offspring will be a 50/50 mix of morph & 50/50 mix of male/female.

"The bird with four (mating) sexes."
In Zonotrichia albicollis, tan-striped males seek out white-striped females, while white-striped males court tan-striped females.

Morphs are behaviorally "masculine" & "feminine", separate from gonadal sex.

Oh! And one more thing, this was fun.. at some point we needed a loading screen icon, so I made real clay models of some reliefs and statuary from the game because I didn't know how to 3D model

This game was the first thing I've ever animated, which is why Maya's run cycle looks exactly like the first result if you Google Image search "run cycle". This is also why many scenes are literally just about bouncing balls

Maybe you know the Japanese word “Baka (馬鹿)”, which means “fool, idiot”. It’s derived from Sanskrit words, moha(fool) or mahallaka (ignorant).
Though its Kanji means horse (馬) and deer (鹿) , they are just phonetic equivalent characters for the loanword. I feel sorry for horses and deer.
