Did you know we have a public playground (no registration needed!)?
Lots of example documents, also covering advanced features like headers, footers, bleeds, and cropmarks. Edit the HTML directly in the browser and see your PDF instantly.
Check it out: playground.europdf.eu#examples/ 🚀

Screenshot of the “playground” feature in the EuroPDF website. It contains a form to enter content, select API key, choose media type etc., and next to it there’s a section showing information about recently generated PDFs.
We’ve made experimenting with PDF creation way easier! Our new playground lets you enter HTML directly or provide a webpage URL — then with one click, your PDF is ready. Give it a try and see for yourself!

Screenshot of the new timeline feature, showing a sequence of timestamped events for a PDF document, including “requested,” “created,” “callback request failed with status 500”, and “incinerated”.
Just launched: Document request timelines!
Now you can see the complete lifecycle of your PDFs: Processing steps, callback results, and confirmation of when document data has been permanently removed (“incinerated”) from our servers.

Do your documents contain animations or async scripts? Our JavaScript preprocessing feature now lets you delay PDF generation until everything is properly rendered: www.europdf.eu/docs/javascr...
You can now use Prince 16 to create your PDFs!
Highlights:
• CSS grid support
• Better JavaScript ES6 compatibility
• OpenType variable fonts
See more about our support for different Prince versions: www.europdf.eu/docs/prince-...

That’s right, linked assets must be accessible for our processing pipeline to download. (They can be protected by HTTP auth, however.)
We’re going to provide alternative solutions in the future, like having the possibility to upload assets once that can then be referenced in the HTML documents.

We're now also listed on “We use Rails” (obviously because we’re using Ruby on Rails 🤓).

When creating EuroPDF, we made sure to use only data processors from within the EU. Wasn't hard at all!
(Right now, we're using Hetzner and @scaleway.bsky.social for hosting / transactional emails, @appsignal.com for monitoring, and Mollie for payments.)
Yay, more stickers!
(Want some? Drop us a line! 😀)
Thanks for mentioning us! 😊
Can also recommend weasyprint if you need HTML/CSS -> PDF.
If you want more quality and better conversion, a commercial solution based on PrincePDF is available via www.europdf.eu
And a heads up from me: There will be a markup-to-PDF pipeline for HexaPDF in the near future :-)
A bunch of stickers with the EuroPDF logo and different slogans like “PDFs with style!” (set in Comic Sans), “Tired of headless Chrome?”, “Two things are infinite: The universe, and the need for PDFs. – Albert Einstein”.
Yay, stickers! Just in time for the next Vienna.rb meetup 😊 @ruby.wien
Photo of a handful of 3d printed stars from the EuroPDF logo, in different sizes, two colour prints, mostly yellow on blue, some black on white.
When you discover that your logo also makes nice Xmas decorations (still playing around with sizes and colours). 🎄⭐️🌟

We’re mainly here to answer questions, but here’s a brief pitch nonetheless:
Need to create a lot of PDFs? Like invoices or status reports?
Sure, you can use a low-level library like FPDF or Prawn, or run a headless browser and “print as PDF“.
Or just save yourself the hassle and use europdf.eu 😎
Hello World (of PDFs)! 👋
