i just finished a 1000 piece christmas puzzle so if anyone was wondering how long it takes me to do puzzles the answer is too long
does anyone else relate to feeling slightly melancholic after finishing a good book/tv series/movie? idk what causes this exactly. like post book depression or something
going to the German Christmas market today, here’s to hoping I bump into an attractive hotel owner or christmas tree farm curator willing to teach me the true meaning of Christmas
How should we feel about Ron Harper claiming the Jazz would have to trade Dylan Harper even if that’s their preferred draft pick in June?
ooh this is a good one
I admittedly haven’t watched many lakers games (I’m a jazz fan)- what would say is the main position of need?
something about the choreography gives serotonin. it’s like a cross between an early 2000’s music video and the goofiest school play you’ve ever seen
like meryl streep in mamma mia and daniel craig in the knives out movies and ryan gosling in barbie and steve carell in crazy stupid love the vibes are just so goofy and zany and lovable
just rewatched the 2008 Mamma Mia! and boy do i have thoughts but my main takeaway is just that there should be a streaming service that specializes in movies where you can tell the cast is just having a fun goofy little time during filming
Christmas on a Wednesday makes planning PTO weird and being an adult sucks sometimes bc wdym I don’t just get 2 weeks off
a relationship should be 50/50. 50% law and 50% order
adult!
i’m teaching sunday school tomorrow, who has advice for me (or insight about Ether 12)
remember, don’t forget to leave out some mashed potatoes and gravy for the pilgrims tonight
a relationship should be 50/50. 50% naked and 50% afraid
esp in the BoM the distinction is fairly evident but i think one of the bottom-line takeaways for me was just that the church as a whole focuses too much on the contractual perspective of God and less on the relational perspective. i do think leaders have tried to push back on that recently
I’m still in the church and not really deconstructing (although tbh idk how to define that 100%) but I’ve thought about this often. one of the more interesting studies i’ve ever done is reading scripture looking for difference between “blessed” and being “prospered”
USA is like the Florida of the Earth
can you tell when someone is the youngest sibling without asking? i feel like there’s an attitude
it makes me sad bc i loved twitter and still have lots of friends there but the algorithm plus ads plus bots plus shadow banning plus trolls is too much. it’s just not what it once was
X is to twitter what Darth Vader is to Anakin Skywalker. At first we refused to acknowledge it as “X” but as more time passes it becomes more and more clear that the old version is dead, killed by the new. And unfortunately I don’t foresee a redemption arc coming for X.
a relationship should be 50/50. 50% parks and 50% rec
tis the season baby
man
with christmas tree
vasectomy
🤝
ornamental balls
like i’m ready for holidays but not THAT ready 😂
we need more THANKSGIVING hallmark movies. it’s hallmark season but not yet snowy christmas tree farm/bakery/bookstore hallmark season yet you know what i mean. where is the hallmark movie set on a turkey farm
i love parks and rec but also in retrospect it’s become a lot less satirical and a lot more prescient
visiting new town and curious what the market looks like? perfect. going home for holidays and want to see how much your childhood home is worth? great. snooping on friend house price? sure, just this once as a treat. there’s something for everyone
zillow is social media and don’t ever let anyone tell you it’s not
