Chiune Sugihara was a Japanese diplomat stationed in Lithuania who issued visas to more than 2,000 Jews during World War II, saving their lives. Today, their descendants number at over 40,000. Today, on Yom HaShoah, Israel’s Holocaust Remembrance Day, we remember.

Tolerating hatred toward any group creates permission for hatred toward every group. Holocaust remembrance is not a Jewish responsibility – it is a human one.
Oh yeah. Some of them still have loads of that. Hopefully some will do the work and grow out of it, but many simply will not and will fall for the same “divide and conquer” bullshit that historically screws us all.

Over 80 years later, the global Jewish population has still not returned to pre-Holocaust numbers. Entire communities, families, and generations were lost.
We remember them. And we refuse to forget.
