The Ulysses of dark fantasy! Infinitely rewarding but possibly the most dense book I’ve ever read

Never handed in my BrooklynVegan list because I got distracted with tour stuff, so here are the things I dug this year:

I’m glad that you liked American Standard and all that but it’s not nearly as good as this review and you know it

Going thru old Letterboxd reviews and finding myself upset that my greatest contribution to cinema and art as whole only got two likes

Yeah, I loved it. Closest a film has ever come to articulating McCarthy’s worldview (outside of maybe The Sunset Limited, but that doesn’t really count)

Finally gonna watch The Counselor. Wish me luck.
