Today I was thrilled to unveil, alongside MPI, our new Ride for Dad license plates. These plates support the Manitoba Prostate Cancer Support Group and raise awareness for survivors, victims, and everyone affected by prostate cancer. Thanks to everyone who rode in support of this great cause today!

Thank you to the staff of Chalmers Renewal Corp for the vital role you play in our community. I was grateful to visit over lunch and have the opportunity to reminisce about our late friend Jason Schreyer and the work he was most passionate about.

I am shocked & deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of my friend and colleague Jason Schreyer. Jason was a strong advocate for the people of North East Winnipeg and will be greatly missed. Sending my love and support to his wife, sons and his whole family during this tragic time.

Our government won’t stand by when crime disrupts communities in rural and northern Manitoba. As part of our commitment to being tough on crime and tough on the root causes of crime, we are investing $3.3 million in Manitoba’s RCMP Emergency Response Team to make our province safer.

Road safety is a responsibility all Manitobans share. Today MPI announced the continued growth of their Speed Display Sign Loan Program with a new sign in Selkirk. This is an effective tool to keep Manitobans safe as we all do our part by adhering to speed limits and road conditions.

Thank you to Minister @mattwiebemb.bsky.social, MLA JD Devgan, & Manitoba Public Insurance for coming to Selkirk to announce the expansion of MPI's Digital Speed Sign program, which is helping to keep Selkirk safe and complementing the work we and the RCMP do to keep our streets safe for all.
