getting your head wrapped round the fact your pancreas has give up,and I’m sure I’m gonna struggle and get annoyed later on in life too, but it’s not a give up moment, I see it as a new chapter to tackle, but to also understand how my body works with different things, food, weather, the list goes on

To the NHS taking care of me after going A+E and guiding me under there supervision, to my first insulin injections, from a finger prick test daily to a libre 2+ sensor, there has been many roller coasters so far and yes it’s tough, it’s a struggle at time,

starting with constant thirst and loosing 2.5 stone from constant check ups, 10 blood tests as my GP can’t book the correct one or looses them …. 111 telling me 30mmol is okay just to monitor it :/

So earlier this year, March April time, I got diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. It runs in my family but never through of getting it this early to say the least. And boy what a journey so far,
