And confirmed. Womp womp. Onward!

Not even a chance to interview
Didn't get it :(
Due to publishing a boring and way-too-wordy project, I now have multiple "add pizazz to..." entries in my todolist for the next few days...
<response nobody wants playing devils advocate for literally no reason>
Very nice that you can go anonymous, but the backend API still shows me if you search my name
Really cool to see people are still returning PII in API results that should never be send to the end user. Other webinar attendees really do need my email address sent to their browsers /s
Something about capture being too slow or something. Which is a major problem I have with my current solution, too. But at this stage I'd take nearly any improvement at all, but they wouldn't say how bad it was in their setup
Does anyone have any experience with obsidian sync? I thought it'd be better than my current solution but someone implied it has a deal breaking lag or something and then refused to elaborate so I don't know what they meant :(
(it's my obsidian notebook. I'm not like... committing per character changed)
Your branch is behind 'origin/main' by 678 commits, and can be fast-forwarded
Yeah git. I've been travelling.

The cool part about scratching the surface of knowledge, though, is that there is always more knowledge to gain, and as I keep digging deeper, I feel like I've gained more knowledge from two months on this scicomp track than I gained from two years of trying to push gamedev past hobbyist stuff.
At this point I know SO much about the stuff they make and do that if they did end up interviewing me, I'm starting to run out of stuff I'd need to ask them
TouchDesigner is so cool, I just wish I knew what I was doing with it
Not that there is ever a good time, but I can't imagine a WORSE time for "no boot device found" than right now :|
Normalize alternate extremely un-technical names for advanced academic research.
One example for today: "Modelling how potato-shaped asteroids fragment and fracture" :D
dont overthink it dont overthink it dont overthink it
am i overthinking not overthinking it? crap thats overthinking
other than proving conclusively my research project is dead, it's been such a nice day today
Just had to hand-filter and delete all cloudy images from an allsky camera in a city where it's ALWAYS FUCKING CLOUDY! Literally, kid-you-not, 90,000 out of 113,000 images in a particular subset of interest.
I wish that the heat decay of food was independent of when you cooked / picked up the food, and only dependent on when you started eating it. I keep grabbing food and then getting busy with stuff :(
Why do jobs in academia take so long to hire? I'm sitting here hoping on a dream job for a month and it's driving me crazy!
I don't get how so many Dataspell features can be so clearly almost-perfect for scientific-computing usecases, and then flub key stuff. Their visualization cells are so much quicker to set up than writing plotting code, and then render a chart that's so unconfigurable I can't show it to anyone.
"I wish you dark skies" is an ominous curse to everyone but astronomers
Climbing after astronomy on tap is the best evening combo
There should be a cross-genre book category called, "books with sass" because that's what I'm interested in reading!
Getting stressed about this dream job being in the "In Consideration" status for 2 weeks without any interview request or next steps.
Ohhhhh darn I did not pack for this weather
I didn't hear sirens after so I really, reeeally hope it just _sounded_ bad
