Billionaires are scared of us because we aren’t scared of them.
We knocked 1,000+ doors today, and we’re going to keep pushing towards election day March 17!
Like Congresswoman Ramirez talked about tonight, billionaires don’t know what to make of a political movement powered by love for each other, as well as determination that we should all have fully funded education and healthcare, affordable housing, and communities safe from federal interference.
Cook County Commissioner Jessica Vasquez stands with 40th District Statehouse District Candidate Miguel Alvelo Rivera and Congresswoman Delia Ramirez. Miguel's sign Jessica is holding is yellow and navy blue, Jessica's is green and pink, and Delia is holding a sign that says "Karina Villa for Illinois State Comptroller."
A group of smiling people stand in front of a flower decorated storefront holding multiple signs for progressive political candidates in purple, green, and yellow.
We had a special guest at our Thursday night canvass! Along with Cook County Commissioner Jessica Vásquez, @delia.bsky.social came out to chat with our members before we hit the doors.
We will win this election on people power.

We're not running the kind of campaign that attracts hundreds of thousands of dollars of SuperPAC support! www.chicagotribune.com/2026/03/05/m...
In Springfield, I'll work for our communities. Not Meta.
Thank you!! One of our members has a sound mixing studio... We had fun with it!
Singing: Liz B.
Production: Nat
We’re going to dance our way to a better world. We’re going to dance our way to victory. We are going to love each other and continue to build a government worthy of our communities. And we’ll keep doing it the way we’ve been doing it: on the doors, one person at a time.
We made a music video with @33rdwardworking.bsky.social!
This is our new hit single "Hot to Vote," and we will be using it as our GOTV song!

Illinois punishes people for boycotting one country and one country only, and that is Israel.
And my opponent has stayed completely silent on this issue.
We cannot support human rights abuses or genocide anywhere.
Currently, state law directs the Illinois Investment Policy Board to investigate any business that boycotts Israel, and then add them to the Prohibited Investment list.
This should be the easiest question to answer.
I fully support HB2723, which would repeal Illinois Anti-BDS Laws.
#ILPolitics scoop -- DraftKings is now the largest outsider spender in state races.
The sportsbook's new SuperPAC is spending big on candidates like Rep. Jaime Andrade in Illinois' 40th district.
@votejandrade.bsky.social is being challenged by community organizer @miguelfor40.bsky.social.
Thank you to all the volunteers who joined us today to canvass for our #TaxTheRich and #AbolishICE Slate! Special thanks to the Cook County College Teachers Union! March 17 is closing in, so join our campaign for candidates like @miguelfor40.bsky.social !

This is basically straight up lying to the voters by Jaime Andrade’s campaign, which is smearing his opponent by false accusing them of supporting ICE. Good campaign truth squadding by @olivia0.bsky.social

We have three weeks left to turn out the 40th District around this people-powered message.

We are grateful to have been endorsed by the progressive gold standard Girl, I Guess Voter Guide!
“This is an election about fighters, about change, and about the future. That future is Miguel Alvelo-Rivera, and he’s endorsed for the 40th District.”
Meanwhile, we are running to stand up to data centers, protect our freshwater and the Great Lakes, and prevent AI companies from stealing our water and electricity and sticking us with the bill.
We deserve representation that’s sticking up for us—not polluters and the world’s largest companies.
In our latest episode of Dark Money News:
Our opponent, Jaime Andrade, is being supported by the Meta-funded, pro-AI Super PAC, “Making Our Tomorrow."

I am proud to support a progressive champion like Miguel Alvelo-Rivera because he has been on the ground with me doing Rapid Response and organizing to protect our communities.
If we're going to tax the rich and stand up to fascism, I need another unapologetic colleague in the General Assembly.
The photo shows State Senator Graciela Guzman holding a sign that says Miguel Alvelo-Rivera for State Representative and Miguel Alvelo-Rivera holding a sign that says Graciela Guzman for State Senator.
You all know one of the busiest times of year is when we’re in session in Springfield, trying to get a budget that actually aligns with our values, as well as other bills that will continue to protect and support our communities.
The image features a yellow background with white bars of text and white text that says: OUR PLATFORM: Our key priorities for building worker power and advancing economic justice: Affordable Housing and Economic Security, Labor Protections, LGBTQIA Protections, Protecting Civil Liberties, Climate Resilience, Fully Resourced Public Schools, Healthcare and Safety for all (with more on the website!).
I am not doing this alone. In coalition, we can make lasting change for our communities.

The yellow-backed graphic says "Our endorsements" and it features photos and the names of the following people: Congresswoman Delia C. Ramirez, State Senator Graciela Guzman, Alder Anthony Quezada, Alder Rossana Rodriguez Sanchez, and Commissioner Jessica Vasquez.
The image features the logos of the following groups with the red text "Our endorsements" on a yellow background with a teal border: Illinois Federation of Teachers, Girl, I Guess, Progressive Voter Guide, CTU, and Cook County College Teachers Union.
That vision has led our campaign to receive endorsements from CTU, Girl, I Guess, Congresswoman Delia Ramirez, State Senator Graciela Guzmán, Alderwoman Rossana Rodríguez Sánchez, Alderman Anthony Quezada, as well as organizations including Sierra Club and CCCTU.
