Now that we know that Newfoundlanders and Labradorians care so much about addressing issues around poverty, and given how we just witnessed how collective action can change policy, I am excited to see how many people will show up at the next anti-poverty rally,

I wish that people who are so outraged that the Salvation Army won’t be able to collect donations at the mall in #YYT anymore, would show even an ounce of that outrage at the obscenity that so many people are still forced to rely on services from groups like the Salvation Army in the first place.
