Nice to know. I was a little bit worried when I left and Trump was running again.
Back from Paternity leave! What did I miss?
A lot of interesting things here 1) what will the violation of transparency mean for tiktoks role in broader europe 2) how does the national authorities respons fit previous case of us election 2016 www.bbc.com/news/article...
As a teacher it’s been both heartwarming and inspiring to see students taking in the course, challenge key assumptions, mastering concepts and apply them to real world cases - for that i am grateful.
Last examination of my Info War course at the Uni of Southern Denmark. Two intense days of great presentations and discussions from the students of the MICS program.

While a fourth is on its way, I will leave you with this. As these three papers rely on different literatures and approaches to the study of Russian information warfare, I believe we need to see this challenge from multiple angles and not just one.
The third paper is an online field experiment, where I teamed up with VoxCheck to test if debunking or source exposure would lead to fringe audiences to stop consuming outlets spreading Russian disinformation.

The second paper has moved into “what to do about it” and focuses on the effect of the EU’s geoblock of Russian propaganda outlets and their reach among fringe audiences, i.e. people feeling disenfranchised and consuming a lot of misinformation. policyreview.info/articles/ana...
The first paper concerns how Sputnik relied on various adaptation strategies to tailor its reporting of Nord Stream 2 to Polish, German and English reading audiences. It focuses on how strategic narratives are forced to interact with its audiences world view. journals.sagepub.com/eprint/YE2CX...
In general my main focus has been on the functioning of Russian Propaganda among fringe audiences and what to do about it- mixing international relations, political communication and computational sociology.
Seeing as there has been quite the increase in followers, I thought I’d make a short thread to introduce some of my published work. While some of you are old acquaintances from “the other place”, some of this may have gone you by.
It’s taken almost 3 years to make this decision, and hundreds of thousands more dead, and Russia terrorising civilians on a daily basis. It’s the right choice, so needs to be applauded, but oh so late.
Great. Thanks!
Would love to be added!
