Such news baffles me. Imagine a scenario where you fall into delirium and understand why this needs to be done. The same people are spending billions in arms to kill thousands of children in Palestine and Iran to name just two. How do you justify this at all?

Oh no they smacked Jesus with a sledgehammer! Imagine if they murdered children and civilians to commit a genocide too, that would be less outrageous but could be in contention for one of the top 15 evil things definitely maybe

All I have to say is you think Trump is new to the game? India been at it since 2016

He further apologised to "all the mothers and sisters of (the) nation" due to their dreams being crushed.

The Prime Minister used his time on air to slam political rivals while addressing the latest news regarding the bill

The bill failed to pass as the opposition voted strongly against it. The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, addressed the nation saying the largest opposition party, Congress, and its allies had committed "a kind of foeticide" by not allowing the bill to pass.

3) The most important part of the debacle was the angle it was promoted in. Why do you need to increase the number of seats to promote women and backward classes of people in the government? Why not use the 543 seats and set reservations among them? Why was that so hard?

This would mean under representation for South India and its people who have cultures and lifestyles completely different from any part of North India. It would also mean a lesser ability to choose a leader for India during an election

2) The population increase in India has not been equally distributed, so much so that the north of India holds almost 50% of the population while the south holds 20% with the rest distributed in the north east. Any redrawing would certainly mean more constituencies in the north and less in the south

Now the catch; 1) Why was the 2011 data being used? A new census was supposed to happen in 2020 but was delayed due to the pandemic and has still not happened due to bureaucracy and its character to delay everything. Why not conduct the census first and use the latest data?

The current constituencies had been drawn using population data from the 1970s so it was outdated in every way. So the proposition was to use the census data from 2011 for the redrawing. This would help account the drastic population increase that happened in the past few decades

It was called the "Delimitation Bill". It sounded fancy in proposition because it would mean more opportunities for backward classes and women to take a bigger stand in politics, something the country still falls behind at.

Ever heard of gerrymandering? India's ruling party, led by Narendra Modi, tried to pass a bill to increase constituencies in the country from 543 to around 850. This would include redrawing constituency lines, merging smaller ones together and breaking larger ones into two or more

And there's cricket with 6 balls an over, creases, wicket keeping, bails, no balls, dead balls, runs, free hits, run outs, LBWs, innings, wides and what else nots

Compared it to football which is like "use only leg, hit ball into net" and the concept of an offside and not assaulting anyone, there's not much else to explain, it's easier to get into

When I think about it, cricket is such a complicated game to explain to someone who doesn't know anything about it

Why is the media treating it as a "Pope Vs Trump"? Does an earthworm stand a chance against god's ordained? Does a firefly think it can set fire to a rainforest? How is this worth talking about at all? As the Bible probably said "ignore the hellspawn, they don't believe in any God that matters"

He told the Pope that he should be worried about "what's going on inside the catholic church", a subtle reference to the sexual abuse of children, as if he doesn't lick the boot of a pedophile. Gorgeous stuff man, you couldn't write this if you wished to

Let me ask, is anti-Israeli sentiment the same as anti semitism? When I say I hate the US, I always mean I hate the way the country is run and their internal and external actions, never that I hate any of the religions practiced in it. Is the state and religion not separate in Israel? If not, why?
