I am still very thankful for everyone out there who has supported the book, cited it in articles, and given it recognition. It has been so affirming to see how the book was received and even to know that it sold many copies, it is just a little frustrating to receive nothing for it financially.

I also could use some of the compensation that I am owed right now in my current situation, so it is pretty disheartening to receive this news. I feel like I've been stuck in a back-and-forth, thinking that I might receive something eventually, just to have my hopes reversed.

I don't really like talking about this stuff, but it is just frustrating given the time and energy I put into the book, and also the fact that there were so many people who helped crowdfund the book, just for this to be the outcome.

Unfortunately, I also received this news yesterday about the book Ending the Pursuit: Asexuality, Aromanticism, and Agender Identity. Although I spent many years writing the book and it was released last year, I have still yet to receive anything for its sales.
