It does feel a bit like it, but I learned after that you can get this and the guys who made it got to work with Dan Curry who designed the original for the show. 🤓

There was definitely a learning curve and I could honestly use a little step stool to get more leverage, but it DOES work really well for very fluffy pizzas like these!

I didn't want to just roast a hunk of meat and eat potatoes with it! So I roasted a couple hunks of meat and made sandwiches, of course!

I'm most proud of the sandwiches. Chicken, pesto, and mozzarella on ciabatta. Turkey, bacon, and white cheddar on Italian. Ham and brie with Dijon on baguette.

Being married is easy, I don't know why people complain about it. All you have to do is ask what your partner needs, actually listen to the answer, then figure out how you're going to train a variety of woodland creatures to put ancient curses on their enemies. It's literally so simple.

What's everyone else having lately?

A cast iron Dutch oven containing 3 large cans of tomatoes and wrapped in foil weighs down a spatchcocked chicken in a large cast iron skillet on top of a gas range. An open cookbook is visible on the counter behind.

The same chicken has now been roasted on a bed of small red potatoes in the large cast iron skillet. A lidded copper pot (full of green beans from last year's garden) sits behind the skillet on the stove.

I'm still cooking at least 2 new things each week. We had chicken "under a brick" a few nights ago.

Some mornings I wake up & it all just hits me at once that yes, the vast majority of people chose to let others become disabled & die rather than wear a mask.

As of 2pm CDT, nearly 200 locations across the U.S. have broken or tied their daily heat record for March 20th.

45 of these have also set all-time March records.

Another ~85 are within 3° of breaking theirs before the day ends.

Where we live, they're considered "uncommon", but we have a pair that have nested to the northeast of us for at least the last few years. They have a baby or two every year and it's fun to listen/watch when they call to each other.

Ours (Great Lakes region) are very orange.

I recently found out that my mom had NO idea we were above 1000 feet elevation and never adjusted for that, so I guess we all lucked out there for decades? 🤷🏻‍♀️
