It's been working well for me.
Also note you can predict how many cards they can possibly draw next turn. That also helps with knowing when to play a judge and when not to.
Ways to heal a damaged Mega Lucario (Scoop Up Cyclone or Wally) can also help a bunch.
getting Watchtower on the board followed by a Judge is huge (other way around too)
reducing the amount of Dunsparce they can use is also good.
If they only have one of the Zam line on the board its a priority target.
Solrock taking out things can also be huge for the prize trade.
I still remember that Prerelease.
I pulled 2 Blacephalon and 2 Welder and just played those and 36 Basic Fire.
I won the Prerelease.
Hard to say, depending on what Games you play and what role you usually have at tournaments this might be different for you than it is for me.
I linked an article summarising a lot of the changes. Give it a look ;)
whats an offline?
imagine if PokeStop existed at the same time as VS Seeker
watched Hoppers this week.
Good movie, enjoyed it a lot.

4) Legality Date of all new cards
This is the day all cards from a new set become legal (yay).
This date is determined by steps 2 or 3 of this series of posts.
For POR this means:
1) Prerelease Period starts March 14
2) Set release on March 27 (reprints legal)
4) New cards legal on April 10
(5/6)
3) Elite Trainer Box / Booster Bundle release day
For sets like Asceneded Heroes which do not have sleeved booster packs, new cards from the set become legal 2 weeks after this point.
Reprints still become legal on the day the set releases.
(4/6)
2) US Set Release Day
The first day a new set is being sold officially. This date can usually be found on Pokemon.com.
Starting on this day, reprinted cards from the new set can be used.
For sets with sleeved booster packs new cards become legal 2 weeks after this date.

I will break down new set releases into 4 "milestones".
1) Prerelease Period Starts.
This usually starts 2 weekends before the set releases.
In this time, Prerelease tournaments happen.
During this period, none of the new cards are legal for tournaments.
Note: not all sets have prereleases.

Now that the confusion around whether PokePad is allowed at Houston has been cleared, I started thinking this could be a nice chance to more thoroughly educate about the rules surrounding reprinted cards and card legality.
For this, I will be using PokPad as an example case.

The past 48 hours there was some confusion regarding the legality of the POR versions of PokéPad for Houston, so here is a small update to this post.
If you registered to play TCG, you should have received an Email confirming that only the ASC prints will be legal for Houston Regionals.

time for you reincarnation as a Ditto :3
idk if she is full on coming back but there is a 20th anniversary special soon
It is not wrong.
However, I do feel like a way to get over this could be to replace those negative feelings with new positive feelings and memories.
But this needs to happen at a pace comfortable for you. :)
I don't know how the Judges at Houston or your locals will handle POR PokéPads in terms of penalties, but it is save to expect having to replace any POR PokéPad with either an ASC version or a basic energy.
If you want to play PokéPad before Mar 27th, please use the ASC version to avoid finding out.
Perfect Order PokéPad
Seen this question a bunch, so I want to help spread the word.
The PokéPad included in Perfect Order is not legal for Tournament Play until March 27th.
Until then, only the ASC version is legal.
This includes Houston and all Challenges and Cups until then.

A playmat featuring multiple Mega Evolved Pokémon, including Lucario, Gardevoir, Absol, Kangaskhan, and Camerupt.

I have heavy doubts it'll ever run on Switch 1.
However, someone who has the game and a Switch 2 can in-person game share with a Switch 1 and you get to play together.
Pretty limited, but I heard its fun.
Finished the Pokopia story last night.
What a phenomenal game.
It combines some of the best aspects of Minecraft and Animal Crossing, fixes a bunch of the issues those game have and gives it a unique spin that made it feel like a familiar, but new and improved experience for me.
Hoping for story DLC
Pokopia is a 12/10 gam
the other day I apparently made someone salty by not attacking ^^'
They were playing N's Zoroark, and I played Mega Lucario with Cornerstone.
They benched a Munki so rather than attacking Zoroark I took out things I can OHKO and didnt attack when I wasnt able to gust something up.
they were cooking with Pokopia and Im gonna be sad when I finish the story lol.
good game.
Ok I'm sorry, I am breaking my spoiler policy a little here but the connotations warrant it
Stereo Rotom (DJ Rotom) is Electric/Normal-type.
Why would they do such a thing if not for the future?
