The new VERY hagriographic Michael Jackson biopic starring MJ's nephew is out at the end of the month. But back in 2004 an unauthorised and EQUALLY flattering biopic was made in Canada. Here is a clip and I promise you have NO idea where it's going. I haven't done a single edit here.

To be fair to them it does look fast paced and bants all round.
“The bourgeoisie of the imperialist ‘Great’ Powers bribe their workers with crumbs from the superprofits they obtain from the colonies.”
- Lenin
Such a good quote because it shows how easy it is for liberals to accept the atrocities of their empire as good or necessary, because they get treats
@aoc.bsky.social really is outstanding in her role as a US liberal. Performative liberalism masquerading as leftism or socialism, voting present on giving a settler colonial genocidal terror state more money and crying crocodile tears as if you're the victim. That must have taken so much courage.
Because the Zionist occupiers are equally as bad as those who resist occupation.
Haha all good, just trying to understand the predictions you’ve made. Was this based on any data? Or just for a bit of fun?
Northern Ireland has 18, and it’s only Sinn Fein (I think) who don’t take up their seats
That makes 629 seats total by my count. Theres 21 missing seat
Nepo baby billionaires have no morals nor Vinai, who defended and supported Partay the rapist. Not surprised they’re interested in De Zerbi to manage Spurs
@iibu1.bsky.social what other seats do you have for the other parties, SNP, Tory, Lab and independents?
lol v true regarding Clegg, always thought he was a charlatan. Regarding coalition formations I think there are too many unknowns. Personally I can’t see Davey joining w/ Farage, irrespective of their capitalist policies. I want to see the hypothetical seat projections for the other parties too!
You have to think what is in the short, medium & long term interests. Politicians mostly think in short term interests and crave the power and prestige. Would going into coalition last, would it replicate the annihilation Lib Dem’s faced in 2015.Brexit Farage and Rejoin Davey.. not sure how it works
I think there is the distinct possibility of letting Reform try rule as a minority government, watch as they can’t get any legislation through, chaos ensues and then another election is called six months down the line. Bond markets may freak out too, like they did with Truss
I think this is too reductive imo. Clegg and Cameron were cut from similar cloth. 2010 rose garden politics and 2026 post-Brexit Britain are v different. Reform and Lib Dem’s may both be on the right, but this doesn’t automatically make them compatible in Westminster coalition. Watch this space
Interesting read.
1) “Methodologically, the assessment combines structured judgement… and comparative scenario weighting.” What are the comparative scenarios being used in this assessment?
2) using Polymarket as a way of assessing is grim but curious. A new indicator for decision making.
Also incredibly funny that in this scenario Ed Davey has only been able to win 1 more seat from the last GE
Need to see what the other parties would get in this scenario ie SNP and Labour.
Would be very curious to see whether Ed Davey learnt anything from Clegg & Co. Can’t see them joining a coalition with Farage and Reform personally.
Tel… why did you not square it
Spurs fans don’t even check the score anymore, they just look at you like this
On a 8am train from Dortmund to Stuttgart (3.5 hours, total price €30) and these lads were drinking pints for €2.50, literally cheaper than my coffee. Another world is possible
This is an illegal, unprovoked and brutal attack that shows once again that the USA and Israel are rogue states.
The UK must end our cosy relationship with the USA and our ongoing support for Israel.
I think about this Tony Benn speech much more than I used to
Lmao
I came to the Netherlands in 2018 to study but during Covid & Brexit I moved here permanently. I went back to the UK in Autumn of 2019 to campaign for Corbyn’s Labour Party but left again summer 2020. It was so bleak during that time I had to get out at the first opportunity.

Since leaving the UK 6 years ago, I’ve been able to totally disengage from mental UK political punditry, but every now and then I dip my toe back in to see how things are holding up over there. Absolutely unhinged analysis as well as the comments.
