I’m happy to share that I’ve started a new position as Development Manager at ALN! Working alongside my academic liaison role at Newcastle Uni. I'm so pleased; an opportunity to help others share good practice, learn from each other and make connections between library staff (all the things I love!)
Doing that thing where I'm defrosting something where I'm hoping its pasta sauce but I'm not entirely convinced
Organising an induction programme for a new member of the Liaison team; so many fab things to learn (must be careful not to overwhelm her)

A joy to attend to separate sports days and a choir/cello concert for the kids this week. Lots of smiles and encouragement between the kids made my heart soar

Those journal articles, ebooks, bits of data you found? The uni library paid hundreds of thousands, perhaps even millions for all that, depending on size of uni. Then we hooked it all up mostly seamlessly so you didn't notice.
