I have had a LOT of fun mulling for hours upon hours mandalorian philosophy and how history has shaped their culture and perceptions, which is all coming to shape her utter reverence for the foundational beliefs of her people, that she will kill and die for to uphold.

Rinsla is such a fun character to play. She’s hot headed, blunt and staunch by nature, but she’s cultivated such an unwavering love for the core tenets of mandalorian philosophy that it’s forced her to learn patience and equanimity. But sometimes these bitches just need a knuckle sandwich ykwim

There’s a huge amount of metaphor and symbology lovingly crafted into these two and their story, the historical and cultural state of Mandalore, and the future they’re heavily involved in shaping the outcome of :>

Nosran has burn damage to his chitin from the explosion that nearly killed him (and kickstarted Rins whole story arc), so after they were reunited she had hers etched in mirror with foliar patterns inspired by Mandalores nearly extinct ecosystem :)

horse girl woes....had an ongoing series of little hiccups that have put Denny out of work for a few weeks (fat bastard), got what I can being dealt with, and the rest is just a waiting game for things to resolve themselves.

Got a new bridle though! Gonna take him bitless :)

the one thing I do wish I could change is that a lot of the artists ive followed for years+, arent as active on these platforms anymore :(

i deleted all my other socials bar bsky and tumblr (which I did delete, but restarted under the new handle), and it's been a bit jarring to get used to the slower pace and general lack of an in-your-face algorithm like other sites, but it's been a nice change :)
