A movie almost as beautiful as Lee Pace!

There really are singular moments of being a parent that make up for all the stresses in life. Seeing my kid’s George Washington homework this morning was one of those.

I love @danagould.bsky.social and have been religiously following his podcast for 14 years, but as North Carolinian I cannot stand for any Andy Griffith slander. To defend his honor I will say “head” is a local colloquialism for chewing tobacco. It’s not true, but I’m gonna say it.

The dragon in question

At this point I think the F150 Lightening is the best electric truck. The e-Silverado kind of launched as a dud. Holding out hope for VW’s Scout Truck in 2028 to provide some more truck options.

My wife was adding things to my “honey-do” list for today and I dead-ass looked at her and say “I really need to finish this dragon before next Sunday.” and she didn’t even laugh in my face.

I have a very patient wife.

For me, maturing was finally being comfortable eating by myself at a diner. Just stroll up to the counter and drink a coffee and smash pancakes. Just completely relaxing. That’s my spirituality.
