The WGA Negotiating Committee has unanimously approved a tentative agreement w the AMPTP for the 2026 MBA. This deal protects writers’ health plan & puts it on a sustainable path, builds on gains from 2023 & helps address free work challenges. Members will receive more info in coming days #WGAStrong

Confirmed, there is a tentative WGA agreement.

Just so everyone knows — WGA has told Captains that what is being reported in the media regarding negotiations with the AMPTP is being reported without authorization and may not be completely accurate. A deal is not yet finalized. They will let everyone know when it is.

News: The Writers Guild has come to a tentative deal with studios on a new 4 year contract (yes, an extra year than normal!). Health plan/pension increases, SVOD bumps, protection to police licensing for AI training, more. Still must be recommended and ratified, but huge news.
