Yes, of course, the good old interpretation "CBT is an evidence-based approach, while other approaches are not".😁

While trauma explains a great deal, it is not the only factor. Human experiences are complex, and not every experience is attributable to trauma. Overusing the term diminishes the experiences of those who really experienced trauma and/or have PTSD.

Thanks for sharing! Interesting to see that CBT would be recommended for "simple, isolated" cases, and for patients where there is "defective introspection ability". Interesting choice of words by professionals, as well. Sounds judgy.

Thank you for sharing! I understand your concerns. Interestingly, I didn't even think about that; I focused only on the fact that these people live in an authoritarian regime and fight against oppression. I see these protests as a fight for survival, hence health concerns probably become secondary.
