She is GORGEOUS. I'm going to save the name for another litter! I can just imagine mountain themed kittens.

They were both a bit overwhelmed! Some hissing and unhappiness. But once Agatha decompressed, yes.
Two tiny kittens facing off inside a crate. Agatha, a dark tabby kitten has her ears back and is on the back foot, about to be pounced on by Jasper, a tiny black kitten. His ears are forwards and sideways and you can tell he's being A LOT right now.
In other news, we've named the new little girl Agatha. It was a close race between Agatha and Edith, but I'm going to save Edith for a mountain themed litter I think!
She and Jasper are playing in the crate right now.
A small sleepy black kitten. She's fluffy and the lighting is low so her face is a mere suggestion of sleepy kitty eyes and a touch of nose. She has excellent long ear tufts on her ears, and white guard hairs coming in on her legs.
All of my photos from today have been a blurry mess, but you can see how well Greengage's ear tufts are coming in here!
They've all got white guard hairs coming in on their legs now, which makes them look more smoke than black. Not that it matters.
So many ticks! I picked a bunch of little ones off her this evening. She's been dosed with revolution, so they were all dead, BUT STILL.
They're so fast now, 95% of my photos are blurry smears haha.
Fat and glorious. Bluegum is eating wet food like a champ and is delightfully round. Greengage is a little smaller and still not hugely into the wet food, but is drinking her bottle beautifully.
It's not even like she needs much extra! We could all totally share.
She's up 30g since last night, so I think as long as I'm really on top of her feeds, she will bounce back fine.
She recognised him, but he got hissy with her. They'll be BFFs by the end of the day I'm sure.
It was SO BIG. I haven't seen a tick that engorged in a very long time.
We love a girl who doesn't need round the clock syringe feeding.
No, Jasper is out with the big cats in the studio. The bus is tiny bottle baby territory (until I know there's going to be no illness shared).
A tiny scared tabby kitten tucked into a fluffy cat bed with a grey blanket. Her eyeballs are huge and she looks very unimpressed with everything.
Jasper's sister is here! 570g, a tiny dandelion fluff of a kitten.
She had a tick the size of a black bean under her chin, poor little poppet! A bit anaemic, but in good shape overall.
Names welcome!
Sassy darling Wattle is a tiny black kitten. She has her ears sideways and back, her best model scowl happening, and one paw thrust forward like she is strutting. Her baby eyes are still blue, but they're starting to change.
Sassy QUEEN.
Wattle is strutting her stuff tonight and showcasing her little avocado shaped self. Wet food for the win!
Myrtle lost some weight over the last few days so I'll be watching her closely - we stopped tube feeds and went to bottle only, so I expected some wobbliness.
I am beyond happy. It's not finalised yet, but I'm still so hopeful!
She really felt they matched her energy and I love that for everyone.
Same same. I am so so thrilled for them but oh my gosh they've been here seven months and are such gorgeous girls.
Maybe!
Omg
Meg. A black cat, sitting on a mat in front of a sliding door window. She is looking at me with utter disdain, like I am ruining her life for both taking photos and withholding treats. She is glossy and beautiful.
Omg omg omg omg I think Meg and Sabine are going to be adopted!
An amazing woman came to meet Harmony and Melody today and fell in love with our gremlin chaos girls instead. I'm so so happy for them.
Not magic! Lots of vacuuming, and attempting to keep the cats and kittens away from the curing shelf. Which doesn't always work! I check soap for cat hair before photos/packing/shipping!
How are you healing?
We have eight black foster cats right now 🤣🤣
"Oh but can't you come trap?"
No. I am very well set up for emergency fosters and emergency kittens being delivered to be. I am not set up to trap.
And yet again, no one wants to actually catch the kittens or adults. They want Magic Rescue to swoop in and do absolutely everything while they feel good because "we helped".
Irritated.
In other exhausting news, I have so many people messaging me about kittens. Lots of "we knew the people at work were feeding them, but we didn't bother getting them desexed because Not Our Problem but now there are kittens and We Feel Bad"
In very good news, one of his siblings ate The Bad Snacks and got themselves trapped! They'll be arriving tomorrow to join him. I'm so pleased.
A very small black kitten on a concrete floor in front of a sliding door. He is being sniffed by an adult black cat (Sabine) who is in turn being sniffed by her sister, also an adult black cat (Meg).
Jasper has been released in the studio! He was sad and bored and now he is free and chaotic.
Ignore my floor, I was about to vacuum and the dog tipped the water fountain. So now that has to dry.
Yeah, which I don't love. But it's a good way to control the flow.
