What does it mean to "cut" death? It’s a difficult concept to put into words, but imagine a powerful lingering attachment a mix of hope and regret that forms a "line" tethering one's heart to this world. As long as that line remains, one cannot truly cross over. That is the state of "SHINI KIRE NAI"
The phrase is a combination of SHINI (death), KIRE (to cut), and NAI (not). Literally, it means "to be unable to 'cut' death."

At its core, this is a visual novel that feels like a picture book. But unlike a book, we’ve added many elements to make you feel as if you’re truly walking alongside Mary. This immersion only gets deeper as the Episodes progress.
While this might be a bit disappointing for those expecting multiple routes, please know that your "choices" aren't meaningless. Although the main path remains the same, your decisions along the way will leave their mark. Mary’s story simply cannot be completed without you.
Speaking of the ending... I’ve seen some of you asking: "Is it a multi-ending game?" To be honest, it’s a single-ending experience. This story follows a very specific theme. To truly share that feeling with you, I felt there could only be one conclusion.
A quick update on #SCHRODINGERSCALL (It’s a bit of a long one!) We are in the final stretch, running our final checks—making sure the game is smooth from start to finish, confirming everyone can reach the ending, and catching any bugs. We’re simultaneously testing the PC and Switch versions.
