The 12 fingered symbol of American liberty, generated by the power of our oligarch overlords.
A globe of a barren red desert planet, with only one small city visible.
Dinohattan from the Super Mario Bros. movie, 1993.
The pilot trailer is outstanding! And adorable!

Thanks to him, a part of us will always be in the Outback.
Such a cool series. And how awesome was the leopard queen? Sam will be missed.
Awww….that’s so beautiful. 😍 I miss letters. And phone calls. Communication is so different in the modern world. I had to look up Sinyavsky, and A Voice from the Chorus is going on my reading list.
This. 100%. I can't even say "as a kid," because I STILL wanna be She-Ra!
Sound or no, Buster Keaton is always fun. And whenever there's a train in a black and white film, I always half expect to see Buster Keaton.
Thanks for the ePub upload! I'm gonna check it out.
Shari Ulrich's Talk About Town was only released on vinyl and cassette, and it needs a CD release. It even features Nathan East who famously played on Clapton's Unplugged album.

Fun OST, fun movie. Sorry not sorry, haters! The intl. release had 2 extra tracks, and I'm not aware of there ever being a North American vinyl pressing. This copy was previously owned by a Marky Mark lover- or maybe a hater. What a scratch!

A photo of a VHS copy of Maniac Mansion: The Love Collection. The tape is standing beside its cover on top of a maple desk. The home video warranty card is visible too, though mostly out of frame.
This a zoomed out photo of Maniac Mansion: The Love Connection. The tape is beside its cover, which is purple and has a photo of the family starring in the show. A PBS home video catalog, which was included with the tape, is sitting on the desktop.
The one and only home video release title from Maniac Mansion, starring the great Joe Flaherty. I wonder if the original recordings were destroyed in the 2008 Universal Fire. 🔥 Glad I kept this copy!
Anyone else watch this?

So it’s mosquitos that wag the dog. Well played.
”Un-Peter Max” may be the best descriptor ever for Giger.
Filmation has forever made me associate Bow with the 80s power mustache. So I must choose to tell myself that it’s sold separately- batteries not included.
I feel like I spend much more time setting them up than actually playing with them.
…and so was the beginning of the FaceBook poke.
Sounds like a Whopper to me.

What can I say, I’m a Dark City fan. My mom loved that movie and it was quoted often. What comes to your mind first when you think of Richard O’Brien?
If they had Metal, Knuckles, and Naugus in the continuation, why not just leave it open to interpretation for this one scene. But honestly, Naugus is a hard sell. That nose and the conjoined eyes!
And before that, it was the even less popular Daddy John Legs. At least, that’s what I heard.
I know that “But Not Tonight” wasn’t on the original UK vinyl pressing, but I grew up with the CD, and for me, that song will always be the amazingly uplifting closing number to Black Celebration.
Peekablue was so gorgeous. These were the best toys ever. They had real hair, beautiful outfits, and each one came with a mini-comic.
Where are Stratos and Buzz-off when you need them?
Some of us girls just need a stud who’s, you know, stable. 😉
Richard O’Brien from Dark City was fun in Haunted Hills too. The more I think of it, we need a new Elvira movie! @therealelvira.bsky.social
She had two movies! Don’t forget Elvira’s Haunted Hills! I do like Mistress of the Dark just a little more though.
There's cool people everywhere, even in Texas. Just not enough cool people in the state govt. I thought they were doomed when they mandated that the 10 commandments go in all classrooms, but's that's over. Cool people like you keep spreading the word, and I hope it inspires more out there!
