We're not in the habit of shaming ourselves just because. When shame was used to control us growing up, we often internalize it as our go-to for getting ourselves to take action.

Working to change that means developing more effective, humane self-motivational strategies.

Fact: trauma survivors tend to assume way too much "responsibility" for our feelings, reactions, & events in our lives than is appropriate. We would MUCH rather feel guilty than powerless.

The trope of survivors leaning into "blame" or "victim mentality" is a pernicious myth.

I have been fighting Microsoft AI for a week. I would input a scheduled event at a very strange time but that's the time they wanted.

Anyone who is wondering what the issue is with AI and replacing certain things in the work force- AI has screwed me to the ground this morning.

AI does not understand time zones and distinctive meeting times, oh no it's a mindless "efficiency" machine that does not have human finesse.

Its inspired by subtle foreshadowing of the comic's plot so I can't too into it [ yet] but I wanted it to be like the viewer is looking up to the surface as when they're underwater.

Adam Valere: A rough around the edges Bostonian and Proud to hail from the iconic "North end" - this musician and software developer has a snark to him alongside his brilliant million dollar smile was making him quite popular in his new home in San Francisco... And then the aliens invaded. Rude. Now he's stuck in the world's fanciest tin can going stir crazy in the depths... At least... that's what they want you to think. Adam has a secret. And he knows they know he has that secret. And he will fight tooth and nail to protect that secret.

Noah Harrison is not having a good day. No he really is not. One second he is standing watching a boating show with his companions...friends... acquaintances(???) - the next he apparently decided to play hero, got in a wrestling match with an hen got smacked in the head with a brain fryer club! ....because this poor guy has absolutely no memories whatsoever. Damn hero complex. Except.... strangely enough there is this oddly...familiar sense to that one girl...you know the one who he caught her before she fell... Why does it seem almost like... he knows her? And that... other man... why is he familiar too? Could they....know who he is?

Evelyn Noire is tired. She's just so tired, she just wanted to see the sea lions is that so - WRONG?! But no, now this shy young woman who would pay a good amount of money to just be invisible has become known as the "fainting girl" after witnessing a *whale* through her *window* Who could really blame her?! And why is this Adam guy looking at her so darn *amused*?? Does she even know him??? ....seriously.... does she? Why is it that something constricts in her chest when she looks at those music notes on that man's wrist...and when she meets his too fervent gaze? Why is she... "la sirena" to him?
