Today’s #BooksAndBrews is all work: #DeltaGreen playtest prep. ☕👁️ One player is burning the candle at both ends, so I’m double-checking Willpower and exhaustion rules, then gear since they’re trying to buy some stuff. One player already had to make a SAN roll over disturbing info. Solid start.

My go to answer would be it depends on your group. For my players, I’ve scheduled two four - five hour session, as the first one was a lot of planing, role playing, and starting the investigation. I won’t be surprised, if it needs a third session for us.

Took the kiddo on an excursion. History is vital. It holds our stories: the horror, the greatness, the failures, & the triumphs. It shows what shaped us and helps us build a better world together.

Anyone telling you history doesn’t matter usually fears what truth remembers. #HistoryBelongsToAllofUS

A fav Gen Con story: I wrote & ran a scenario for You Too Can Cthulhu, & afterward my co-GM buddy asked, “What was that scenario?” I said, “The one I shared.” He said, “Nope. That scenario you shared was great, & that game was awesome but they were vastly different.” 😄I’m very much an improv GM!

The game’s coming along nicely, and I’m locking in the sweet spot between grounded history, hardboiled noir, and magick. That balance is the key and it’s starting to sing.
