The cover for GOD'S JUNK DRAWER by Peter Clines, showing a dinosaur skeleton in a black void, along with a space suit helmet, a human skull, a bionic arm, and a stone-tipped spear.
The cover of THE BROKEN ROOM showing two massive red doors opening to reveal an old classroom chair. On the wall behind it, a small child sits in the chair
The cover for PARADOX BOUND showing an old fashioned car driving on a Mobius strip
The cover for TERMINUS, showing a stormy sea with an island in the distance, and massive tentacles reaching down out of the dark clouds
Guess it's time to update the pinned post.
I'm Peter Clines. I write books. Some of them are very popular. All of them are fun in a sci-fi-horror-speculative sort of way. The newest, GOD'S JUNK DRAWER, is out November 11th. I also post about other folks' books, movies, toys, and other stuff I enjoy
It's not just the count that matters- it's how it's contexualized. For example, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young's "Ohio" only notes "four dead", but the four dead are meant to stand in for all of the American establishment's persecution of its youth.
I’ve just counted, and *twenty-two* people die in Queen’s frankly morbid ‘Another One Bites the Dust’. Is this the highest body-count for any charting single?
Cerberus is furious again, for good reason...

What Radicalized You? Panel 1 A woman sits at a desk talking to her boss who has his feet up on the desk. Boss: As part of ongoing restructuring your position has been eliminated. We'd like to thank you for the 30 years you spent with us. Woman: But we made record profits last quarter. Panel 2 A man stands in front of a dumpster full of food. His boss stands behind him. Boss: Make sure you lock up the dumpster after you throw out all this food. Wouldn't want any bums to get at it. Panel 3 A man stands against a wall, holding his arms up in the air, looking afraid. A police officer points a gun at him. Cop: Police! Drop the weapon, boy. Man: What weapon? Cop: Stop resisting! Panel 4 Lester sits in a booth at a restaurant. He's holding a menu that says "Cluck Bucket" on it. He looks pissed. Lester: $24.99 for chicken wings?
Enough is enough.
