Two cakes! I put mine out in like, idk, 2023? Just because I wanted something for my pages and stuff and thought hey why don't I share it with everyone else as well
I make big ol stickers & label sheets to go with. It's been pretty neat! Just placed another order for more of the big vinyl stickers

Lovely to see this event written up by Rabi. Thanks again for letting me know about Mairéad's work, @chelseagunn.bsky.social!
Excited to be back at it with our Macalester Art + Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon last week! Amelia was even featured on MPR! www.mprnews.org/story/2026/0...
On Wikipedia, Francesca Woodman, Alex Oliver, and Mary-Kim Arnold. Very excited to see this news today, too: www.404media.co/wikipedia-ba....

The Center for Craft is accepting applications for the 2026 Craft Archive Fellowship, offering four $5,000 awards to support research on underrepresented craft histories in the United States.
I'm embarrassed to admit that I've owned War and Peace (2005 Penguin Classics edition) for more than 17 years and still..haven't read it. I explain more here and, as always, find a way to connect it back to Ireland.
Forthcoming chapter co-written with @chelseagunn.bsky.social now feels even more official. Pre-order link available: bristoluniversitypress.co.uk/libraries-ar...
Grateful to @europeana.bsky.social for bringing me these preserved fuchsias.
On strike today here in MN (Fuck ICE). Staying home and re-reading @laurenmarkham.bsky.social's Immemorial in preparation for discussion in class next week. So glad @nextchapterbooksmn.bsky.social not only had this IN STOCK (I initially read it through my library's ILL), but as a staff rec!
Thank you, @bcmerchant.bsky.social! www.bloodinthemachine.com/p/a-complete...
Excited to have a chapter in this, co-written with the ever-amazing @chelseagunn.bsky.social
Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.
Twenty years after I started college @carleton.edu I got to spend part of my 38th birthday enjoying the Arb, ~800 acres adjacent to campus. Even though I ran in the arb almost every day as a student, I still took it for granted! What a remarkable place 🍂
So grateful to the organizers and presenters @civicsoftech.bsky.social for "Communal Resistance to Artificial Systems." Learning so much from Lee Skallerup Bessette and her class coursesites.georgetown.domains/writ-1150-16... (reminding me that I wrote a speech about the pencil as an 8-year-old?)
OCLC has laid 80 people off, not just because of IMLS cuts but explicitly because they're trying to use AI to do the work of library professionals.
Ready to admit AI is a huge labor problem yet?
