Westwood National Theatre, Los Angeles 2006.
An icon of LA since 1970 it held many premiers and all the fame that goes with it.
The building was demolished two years after I shot it and I feel grateful to have a shot a series that represents the last days of this beautiful place.

Wondering with my 4x5” plate camera, looking for an America that wasn’t there.
I saw this composition as I was driving and decided to set up in the hope that some kind of magic would happen. 20mins later an old car rolled through… perfectly matching colour and lost in time.
