"I'm looking for information on Zena Constance Smith aka Zena Kynoch who lived in #Chingford and ran a Dance School. She was born in 1922 and was a Professional vocalist touring much of the Country during and after WW2."

Larkswood Pool, Chingford was opened by Chingford UDC in July 1936. The design featured a striking Art Deco facade & a cruciform shaped pool. There were 70,000 visitors by Sep 1936. It was adapted to be civil defence control centre in WWII. It closed in 1987 & was later demolished. #SwimmingPoolDay
