i'm sure this integration is buried in their ToS somewhere, and there's toggles for saving receipts from physical POS terminals to your account or not, but nothing obvious about surfacing personal details on the terminals

heads up, if you use shopify's "ShopPay" on shop(dot)app, be aware that shopify's physical payment terminals will reveal partial email address if you use a card that's on your ShopPay account. in my case, that included my name, which meant the merchant thanked me by name when I hadn't given it.

But yeah, the long build up and then a voice I'm super familiar with saying "welcome back" before launching into a remix of the song I've heard so many times for a few years hits a lot harder when you've been waiting for 7 years for this game and know the song inside out.

God, listening to the UNBEATABLE album again and remembering how hype the moment I heard the PROPER RHYTHM voice say "welcome back". New players probably won't play the original before hearing the remix any more I think unless they play it in arcade mode or play [white label] first?
