I asked Glen Gulutzan if Marcus Foligno’s comments from last night — saying the Stars “can’t hang” with the Wild 5-on-5 — would be bulletin board material:

“I don’t know if we need a bulletin board. … Obviously, I don’t agree with it. It was a pretty close game last night.”

Nate Bastian is traveling with the team and will begin skating, but the Stars don’t expect him to be available until Round 2.

Roope Hintz is not on the road trip for Games 3 and 4, Glen Gulutzan said.

Ruled him out for Game 3 and said “very doubtful” for Game 4.

The Stars are hopeful he could be available for Game 5 when they return.

Just thought I would give y’all a heads up that it’s going to rain today, on Sunday, on April 29 and on May 1 because those are the days I’m scheduled to fly on a plane to an NHL playoff game, and it never doesn’t rain on those days. Plan accordingly.

Marcus Foligno put Thomas Harley in a headlock and slammed his head into the boards. Foligno gets called for a major, but it's reduced for a double minor. Harley gets interference. Stars to the PP.

There aren't enough officials to split up all the scrums.

Colin Blackwell just laid a big hit on Yakov Trenin, who was down on the ice for a while. His Wild teammates came to his defense. Trenin skated off bleeding quite a bit.

That's a clean hit. Trenin was just caught in a tough spot.
