Attending the #AutismCanada #autism conference today, and bemused that they turned off the chat because we were — checks notes — chatting and connecting.
So if you were an Au-Some 2025 attendee and want to continue, hello! What are your biggest takeaways from today?

Today, I’ve written about how I apply #wayfinding principles about #colour to my calendar.
After all, we are navigating through our week and commitments… why not use visual cues to help with the planning and the doing?
This week, I’m playing around with posts about #colour.
Yesterday, I wrote about how I’m using a specific shade of green as a cue that it’s time to go workout.
(Yes, it’s Apple’s Exercise ring green. Probably not a surprise… but hey, it’s been working for me!)
Part of my work in #wayfinding is reducing cognitive overload by designing for consistency.
If one sign says “x-ray” and another says “radiology,” people can get lost. (Literally.)
I bring that same lens of clarity and continuity to my #pkm and #productivity systems.
It’s so easy for a good idea to get away if we don’t write it down somewhere.
It’s also easy for that place we store ideas to become a junk drawer, making it hard to surface those ideas again.
But there are ways we can help simplify our capture system – for #notes, #ideas, and #tasks.
#pkm
And as for #ttrpg and the joys of Play and Flow… I’ll get there. 😅
If you’re more interested in #PKM or #Obsidian, I’ve started by reflecting on having spoken with (literally) thousands of people about their note taking practices. This is a reminder I repeat often…
So if you’re interested in #accessibility and #wayfinding, you may enjoy this post about how a late night train ride late at home still inspires how I design and teach.
So, with that in mind… over the next month, I’ll be exploring a few topics. These include:
- #wayfinding and #accessibility in design for the built environment
- #PersonalKnowledgeManagement #PKM and likely some #Obsidian…
- #ttrpg and other narrative games
I’m at the start of a 30-day self challenge to not only write more… but actually publish more.
If you look at my social media lately, or my blog, you’ll have to look past the tumbleweeds.
Frankly, I’m terrible at sharing what I write… I much prefer just connecting with people directly.
Thanks for the tip! Saw that in VIP yesterday, but hadn’t had a chance to follow up. Busy day. :)
@sascha-kasper.com, would love to be added to that starter pack.
One of the things I love about TTRPGs is the unpredictability. We thought it would be a 90 minute mini-campaign wrap up to take out the final BBEG. …and finished 5.5 hours later instead. Players made unpredictable (and great) choices, and the dice had a story to tell. Absolute fun.

*taps mic* Is this thing on?
Hi all. I'm Leah. I've been off social media for a while, but picking back up again here.
I'm looking for some interesting accounts to follow, around #history, #ttrpg, #pkm (including #obsidian), and #wayfinding (among others). Any recommendations to get started?
