It's sad that we will not get a second season of The Residence because it was an amazing show and probably the last modern record of the WH as we knew it.
The White House is the People's House. And the People's House has hosted dignataries from all over the world and never needed anything else done for it.
A.B. has ethics. Wynter does not. The rich in this country are trying to destroy any rights we might have or any objects of power that we, the public, place faith in bc they want to show who is in charge.
So, when A.B. wouldn't let Wynter off the hook with the evidence he had, she killed him.
She wanted to completely redo the White House bc SHE didn't like it. She wanted to put her stamp on it and make it permanent even though it is THE PEOPLE'S HOUSE.
She hated A.B. bc he had ethics. Which is what this current admin hates about those of us who believe in oaths that are greater than us.
The show's big moment at the end, while maybe a little heavy handed, actually isn't looking back on it because they were right.
The rich hate how this country is so diverse. They hate that they even have to think about anyone that isn't them. See, Wynter's want to completely gut the WH.
