So proud of what the SWEEP team was able to accomplish last year, despite rough headwinds!

In the UK, they are building infrastructure so that an electric car can charge as fast as a traditional gasoline/"petrol" vehicle would 'fill up'. That is a good example of making EVs more appealing to the general public. Right now, only home owners can really take advantage. Charging solves that.
We need #energyefficiency measures NOW MORE THAN EVER. www.utilitydive.com/news/custome...
Thanks to the over 40 local organizations who joined us this afternoon to learn about upcoming legislation to address Colorado's housing shortage and affordability crisis and save Coloradans money on housing. @sweep2001.bsky.social

From federal funding cuts to policy rollbacks, it’s without a doubt been a very challenging year for #energyefficiency advocates. But despite it all, we continued to make progress at the state and local levels across the Southwest. 🌎 swenergy.org/top-12-2025
"The lesson for the entire Southwest is clear: modern energy codes are the most powerful tool for rapidly reducing energy consumption and GHG emissions in the built environment while improving both health and comfort," writes @sweep2001.bsky.social: www.swenergy.org/from-patchwo... 🔌💡
Cheering utility proposals before review damages trust and risks locking Arizona into higher costs and fossil fuel dependence. The state needs transparent oversight, public input, and clean energy standards that put health, equity, and affordability first. azmirror.com/2025/12/12/w...
