that is also true, though their critique was based on the initial willingness of the IMP crew (particularly blitzø) to kill each family. the critique still falls flat without even mentioning that part imo.

part of that scene in sinsmas literally shows blitzø envisioning himself, stolas, loona, and octavia in place of the family they're sent to kill.

this wouldn't even be a thought that season 1 blitzø would consider. i have little doubt that early blitzø would've murked them without a second thought.

there's a lot you can rightfully criticize helluva boss for, but some reactions to sinsmas are such reaches.

one scene is from beginning of season 1 while the other is end of season 2. it's clear the difference in reaction is from how the characters have developed, not from any ulterior motive.

Same holds true for other characters like Estelle and especially Joshua. Joshua's hair has bugged me quite a bit in later art, but this looks a lot better!

I'm looking forward to the new character art too. No offense to the EVO versions, but they're a bit too generic if that makes sense... Kloe and Olivier are already looking real good in the trailer designs.

This is true, though I like the FC, SC, and the 3rd naming convention tbh. FC and SC are pretty much their own story. I've seen some people call the 3rd TC, but the 3rd is sorta its own thing while still being a conclusion to the Liberl Arc. Coming from someone whose favorite game is the 3rd too.
