Also not forgetting "these people drive around in Ferraris, whilst turning your children into mass murderers!"
Oh I dunno, online the kid could be truly invisible.
Picture of a burning hillside where a warehouse used to be A California distribution warehouse for the consumer products of giant Kimberly-Clark burned to the ground on Tuesday and an employee has been taken into custody under suspicion of arson. The sixth alarm fire required 175 firefighters to contain. A video circulating online, reportedly taken by the agreed worker shows them setting fire to several pallets of toilet paper while calmly repeating "all you had to do was pay us enough to live."
"All you had to do was pay us enough to live"
Forces of capitalism, these are the Canaries in your coal mine.
Pay attention to them.
Might be important.
Just might be.

Money for who, though? They're already obscenely rich.
Flog that dead horse! I wonder if Pigs... is just the two songs joined together, or if there's more to it.

I wonder how many other theme tunes have hidden messages? I'm off to play Jim'll Fix It backwards....
Well that was a bonkers day. If we do all get nuked in the night, I'll be vapourised in the knowledge that:
- the piccolo at the beginning of the Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em theme is morse code for the show title
- at the beginning of Inspector Morse, the killer's name is spelled out in morse code
Just completed The Excavation at Hob's Barrow. A really atmospheric adventure game, with splendid voice acting.
Ended up using a walkthrough, as the puzzles became obtuse to say the least. Despite that, it's worth getting - I think it was only a few quid.
One of the first games I wrote was "Budgie Basher" (not a euphemism), where you had to hoover up budgies before cats and other nasties got them.
Inspired by my mother's efforts to clean out the budgie cage, with the budgie still in it.
What happened to all that "peak oil" nonsense? Weren't we supposed to have run out completely by now?
Funnily enough that was one of the criteria!
I often say "ello little old lady!" to my wife, and yet I live to tell the tale.
Signs you're getting old #43: buying a new car.
Previously: "I'd like a Cooper S, chilli pack, heated leather sports seats, massive alloy wheels, metallic paint, sunroof, rear spoiler, roof and wing mirrors this colour, adaptive suspension."
Today: "I'll have that one in white."
"How can Keir Starmer & his Labour Government be so unimaginative and lacking in boldness? All they need to do is look at how angry people are, look at how much people are suffering. Maybe they don’t understand it. Maybe they just don’t care."

Everything is SUPER QUICK. Almost too quick. Scrolling is quick and smooth. Everything happens immediately. No fans. Even Dicey Dungeons has higher fps.
It's wonderful.
So I thought (like you do), "I wonder if the t2 chaps have fixed the Ubuntu 25.10 installer?" And they have!
So here I am, running Ubuntu on my Intel MBP again, with the only issue being you can't resume from sleep (and tbh I can't be arsed to fix that).
Apple have definitely turned up the "make him buy a new laptop" dial with MacOS 26. Everything is so slow. Scrolling is lumpy, the fans kick in all the time, even bringing up the 'empty trash' menu takes a few seconds to appear.
Give it a few years....
As always, the question should be not how good it is, but how many people are working on it and how likely is it to survive?
A rather niche April Fool. Also, another engine? 😲 Seems to be a new one appearing every day. This one's based on Python, closed source with a (very reasonable) subscription.

The project changed engines *four times*.
What were leadership DOING??
Despite all the tech, they didn't do any sound damping, so the audio quality was a bit pants, unless you listened to it from the disabled toilet, where it was spot on!
Lots of pre-teen kids there with their parents, was reminiscent of a Gary Glitter concert....
Saw Gorillaz in Belfast tonight - excellent gig! Lots of special guests, including the bloke from IDLES (immaculately dressed in a suit!).
That's with a perfect credit rating, perfect history with them over 12 years, income and expenditure well within limits, and two previous phone calls where they said what I wanted "shouldn't be a problem at all". Maybe I just happened upon a fuckwit.
Today's banking cunt of the day is my current mortgage lender - Halifax. They'll only lend 25% LTV on an interest-only mortgage. Bonkers. I just laughed in the mortgage advisor's face: "I think we're done here. Bye."
