If you have young teenagers you should be making them listen to Richard Wolff's podcast (the old episodes don't stick around on the feed for long, so don't waste time). Today's episode is beautifully written & presented & perfect for kids to follow podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/e...
My big kid wants to watch this, we might coordinate the whole thing, although the Mad Men podcast made her furious because they hate her favourite character
This is lovely
I don't like that word
I've just realised you last interacted with me over the nazi lemon pig, I'm not making our home look like a very nice place.
The bed was moved by the way, it's not like we all just saw it lying there and went about our day
From the dates of the flea bites we believe it was there three nights

We have to go to sleep knowing it's downstairs thinking about us

This column has been the second most read on the whole Guardian site today and it’s all credit to Rosy who literally used her last voice to speak out about this country’s care crisis.
Please do continue to read and share. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
The government has told elderly & disabled people to wait until 2028 to hear its plan for social care.
What about those who are suffering here and now?
We don’t need a commission to know what to do: end austerity, reverse privatisation and build a National Care Service for all.
@jondrytay.bsky.social I once pestered you about this on twitter, so for closure, I found long lost files of both Eliza Stories series on my Google drive completely by accident & I'm now enjoying them again
We need to talk about Kevin poster, Kevin has been substituted with ketjap manis
My husband is going through the food cupboard & sending pass-agg texts about my tendency to bulk buy
The government could have finally brought Royal Mail into public ownership.
It sold it to a Czech billionaire instead.
We are being ripped off. It’s time to put Royal Mail back where it belongs: in public hands.

This is the kind of thing Netflix should actually have, hours of Krantz and Lace
I dressed as a spider for World Book Day today (Charlotte), costume once belonged to my kid, with lovely thick plush legs sticking out of it. I was weaving my way through the dining hall silently judging all the staff members who hadn’t made an effort & then one of them told me it isn’t WBD
Saltburn was fun for teens & really pretty but listening to these two nepo fools feeing their way through their GCSE takes is very depressing

Enjoying very much hearing my kids describing the new whooping cough outbreak with the pronunciation used by old coots in American movies to threaten whippersnappers
I do love the cat vet
If there were ads on Yesterday/ITV4 asking us to consider the puppies & donkeys also dying in Gaza I think the Tories would be getting more letters from constituents
Second one sounds great, can you tell me how you managed this?
Have to say Ricky Wilson on Michael McIntyre with the audience eating out of his hand and his trans rights T-shirt was a small and wholesome moment the Saturday night light entertainment slot needed this week
I still find myself thinking about how they ended the very elegant, ‘continental’ Papa/Nicole Renault ad series on a Graduate pastiche with Vic & Bob
It’s for young kids but the year 6s love them too, they are very calm and sweet & a nice tone shift from more frantic Dog Man etc
They’ll be £3 in Tesco and our library will get 300 donations of them a year and my Mr Wolf’s Classes will just carry on being nicked & wearing out and all we will have left will be Walliams & everyone he shares an agent with & all the others
Extract of poetry, texts reading: fucking shite; no wonder his marriage was shit
May need a paternity test, my 17 year old daughter is Paul Calf
