They use images that will cause a significant emotional response. It’s particularly diabolical and disgusting in this case.
Using an AI image not only detracts from the realities of the tragedy by displaying images of made up people not real victims, it is exactly this type of misinformation that lead to the school being wrongly targeted. I’d say that’s important.

If these aren’t the actual people, then, this doesn’t not represent the “facts.” In addition, someone created this to play on people’s emotions. I’m not ok with that type of manipulation, regardless of how I feel about a situation.

I will continue advocating with the relevant powers for justice for Renee Good and Alex Pretti, as well as, doing what I am able to see charges brought for less publicized events of criminal activity by ICE.
We owe a debt of gratitude to the residents who put their bodies on the line to protect each other, while only armed with whistles. We know that Federal agents repeatedly broke the law in our city and many of us hoped that MPD was attempting to address this.
ICE has arrested and detained a Nashville journalist who reported stories critical of ICE. She’s married to a U.S. citizen and has been seeking asylum here after fleeing death threats in Colombia because of her journalism there.
