I don't know how to explain to the people who pop up when creatives complain about "AI" to say there are legit uses for it just how much they sound like someone saying "Well actually fire is used to make bread" when people are talking about an organized arson ring burning down their fucking houses

I’m suppose to feel relief there’s a ceasefire & my people weren’t subjected to nuclear annihilation. But I don’t. I don’t trust ceasefires & I don’t trust rich delusional men in seats of power. Iranians are sitting with bated breath in fear that this is a delay in the dreams of madmen

This is the summer where I was 12. I remember it was warm but the shade was welcome. We walked and walked the palace grounds. At the top was the Green Palace. We had mulberry ice cream while sitting on thick woven rugs. I wish I could go back.

I get angry at WW3 jokes. I understand comedy as coping. But it comes off as callous when there are people whose lives are in danger. You say these things in safety while many of us have people we love living in the active zone of war. I feel waves of anxiety wash over me with each “witty” take.

I wanted to paint them as birds with human faces, surrounded by saffron crocuses and jasmine. Happy Nowruz. 🌸

Sometimes people care more about animals that other humans so let’s try: Iranian street cats. Many Iranians feed and take care of these little ones. The last two are ones my grandmother gives food and water to. They like to hang out in her yard. I hope her and her cats are safe
