If it were so, I would have surrendered my license back in the 20th century.

@publicjustice.bsky.social is a major source of light in this darkness. Lauren Barnes is a rock star, and this is worth a listen.

I did. I regret nothing.

It was upstream from you. And I was mostly laughing.

Now I’m facing the ultimate first world dilemma. I haven’t played wordle yet, and this thread spoiled it. So do I get the never-in-all-my-days win of solving it on the first try? Or must I pretend that I didn’t see the skeet that wasn’t labeled spoiler alert?

Yeah. Both sides, dude. Bye now.

Correct. And also inane. (Bluesky tells me the skeet was written in German, fwiw.)

I’m not following your take here. They’re in the minority—it’s only going to pass if they somehow unlock Republicans, which isn’t going to happen. Or are you criticizing them for the plan to bring it up again?

I keep wondering when his boss will try to fire him and whether the ensuing meltdown would trigger the overdue Am25 process.

Bad week JD. Hang in there, bro. At least TFG can’t fire you.

I dunno. “AI Jesus-Take the wheel!” doesn’t have the same ring to it.

I never will. Which is why I gave up my adjunct prof gig. Their blank faces when I said, “If you can dodge a wrench,….” I realized it was time for the old guy to beat feet.

I am proud of myself for resisting the urge to point out that Hammurabi was coding before it was a thing.

I started to wonder if it was an ai hallucination, but LLMs don’t write genuine frontier gibberish.

I had to stop teaching because my references to Dodgeball went over the heads of my law students.

This is clearly triple facepalm territory. You don’t see it that often. But this is clearly 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻

Why is my immediate reaction to begin making a list of who gets thrown in and in what order?

Trident only had three out of four dentists agreeing. I’m guessing that TFG has over 90 percent of historians.

As a recent California transplant, I can say Fuck Yeah!

TACO.

And even as an atheist, I can say thank god. Now is the time for Republicans to put country first and invoke Am 25.

Totally! And as long at it, I feel like LA and NYC have earned seats at the table.

Wait. So Jesus was a fighter pilot? Wtf? Honestly, I’ve lived around Christians for six decades, and I can’t for the life of me understand their theology.

We (mostly) have good consumer laws in the US but for mandatory forced arbitration. SCOTUS dealt a death blow to consumer protection laws in Concepcion through forced arbitration. We have good laws, but the courthouse is closed.
