I've filed for a short term leave of absence from work while I work on my mental health via new meds and therapy. That could either result in more stream time or less, depending on how things go. If ya don't see me around much in the coming weeks, that's likely the reason why.
Anyone else struggle with picking a new game to play and sticking with it? No? Just me? Okay, I'll just go back to staring at my Steam library for the next four hours until I give up and go to bed.

Last year I played Ender Lilies, and now I'm playing through the sequel: Ender Magnolia. Such beautiful games.
One thing that makes me feel nice is when I see people have purchases or wishlisted a game after watching me play it. I love seeing my support for a great game spread.

The Internet's recent obsession with using the word "diabolical" to describe anything slightly outside the norm is so silly. We seem to latch onto anything that seems fresh without really thinking about it's meaning. Maybe I'm just getting old, lol

I’ve been back to work full time for 2.5 months. Biggest challenge has been finding the emotional energy to stream. I can’t pick a game to play. I don’t know what to talk about. I just get stuck. Hoping when I start to work from home it’ll be easier to find that mental energy again.

Same. I quit WoW back in 2019 and haven't looked back once. I'd consider playing a new MMO if it didn't devolve into feeling like a job where I had to log in every day. I just can't do games with a daily grind any more. I think that's a pretty common theme with MMO'ers now; the burnout is real.
I truly am sad for all the people who invested time and money and put their hopes into something that never came to be, though. Hope my MMO friends get something new and exciting that has some staying power some day.
I was intrigued by this game and watched from afar, but the red flag for me was charging people so much money to Alpha test the game for them. It felt like they were taking advantage of a community desperate for something new and didn't have the capital to continue development otherwise.
