After the appointment, as we walked toward the exit, she needed to use the restroom. So I did what I’ve done a bajillion times: I waited in the hall outside the restroom. It was about 5:30pm so the building was empty-ish. I was the only person in the hall, until I wasn’t. A woman came off the elevator near me, and lucky for her, I am not one of those 62,000,000 men. She could tell because I was wearing my club “good guy” shirt and she had on her “better than the bear” decoder ring. So we high-fived and she left the building feeling completely safe.
