I’m talking personal experience not data. I’ve lived in NY my whole life and I’ve never heard one story about someone almost getting hit by a car. Almost everyone has stories of almost getting hit by bikers. Any near miss with a car was because they were jaywalking.

I’m in NYC. I’ve never almost been hit by a car. I’ve almost been hit by cyclists MULTIPLE times, either speeding the wrong way down a one way street or blowing through red lights. One came so close the wind blew back my hair. I walked into a police cordon where a cyclist had hit & killed a woman.

Geeks Guide to the Galaxy podcast did episodes on each book in the series, so check them out if you’re interested. You can find them on Wired.com

(Full disclosure, I’m on all three panels)

Messiah is bad. It reads like a first draft. Children of Dune is great.

Part of the reason Andor is so good. Don’t think they say the word Jedi once.
