I've been a member at the West End YMCA for a few months. I wasn't going to say anything about what I thought were minor issues, but lately it's become a bit more disconcerting. I'm from a small town, and when I go into a business or estab- lishment anywhere, I usually say "hi" to everyone. I also usually say "bye" when I leave. While I know that some people are busy when I enter and exit the gym at the West End YMCA, some people are just snobs and won't say anything to me, ever, or grudgingly do so, even when they're not busy. This has occurred with a woman that works there on more than one occasion. I don't know her name and I don't care to know. I have said "hi" to her repeatedly, on different occasions before, miraculously, she said "hi" to me, once. You'd think I was pulling teeth the way it pained her to do so. I don't understand. If I never get an answer to my question then how am I supposed to know what it is? Please don't interrupt me when I talk. I don't like the attitude of most of the staff.
