Catching some quality glitches on the NASA stream when the signal from the spacecraft was breaking up. Space glitch, a truly rare glitch.

Anyway, go see it! I enjoyed the heck out of it. They achieve so much with so little (I would say more but spoilers!). Also kind of great that we're getting two liminal space horror movies (The Backrooms) in the span of a month.

My favorite behind-the-scenes story from a Q&A with the director: they built two identical sets to allow for one takes but the cast and crew kept getting lost in them/couldn't tell them apart. So they named one set "Kubrick" and the other "Hitchcock".

Jeremy Hansen's patch for the Artemis II mission CSA astronaut Jeremy Hansen's patch was created for his participation in the Artemis II mission by Anishinaabe artist Henry Guimond. It includes personal and Indigenous elements important to Jeremy.

Astronaut Jeremy Hansen is taking Indigenous culture past the Moon: his mission patch was designed by Henry Guimond, an Anishinaabe artist, incorporating one Indigenous perspective about the seven sacred laws, which are represented by animals.

I'd say it's mainstream but still very atypical from its shonen contemporaries like JJK or Demon Slayer. Its "cozy" approach to fantasy storytelling really distinguishes it and yes I think it makes you a Person with Excellent Taste imho.
