Wally is simply better. Barry has dominated the media while not even being the comic Barry. Most of the people who love barry love the aspects that have been borrowed from Wally. It's Wally's time.
This is the story I'm referring to. In which a 5th dimensional imp steals all the colours from the world. And superman has the choice to release them back after the imp felt bad. Unsure as he chooses to only release two colours. Red & Blue.
The beauty of this poster lies in it's colours. And the colours of superman aren't simply just colours. They represents human emotions and it's best portrayed in Issue 1 of Superman Red & Blue. So glad to see my superman be colourful again.

References to a greater threat can be mentioned who is responsible for this unsolved mystery. This is a rough idea on the first movie. In most trilogies, the sequel is the best movie so i'm keeping zoom for that one. And the third movie could be a reverse rebirth like storyline with Barry's return.
Wally ultimately neutralizes the device with the help of the rogues, but in doing so, he must let go of Barry’s memory entirely. In the aftermath, Wally feels the warmth of victory but still feels like he lost something or someone so dear to him.
Wally discovers the Rogues' plan and confronts them during their heist. Instead of a traditional brawl, the confrontation is filled with tense dialogue and action sequences highlighting both Wally's and Rogues’ humanity. Such events elevates Wally's belief in himself to a worthy successor.
This device, however, is unstable. Though the Rogues don't intend harm, their actions inadvertently disrupt the Speed Force, accelerating its breakdown. The instability manifests as time and space distortions in Central City, causing localized but dangerous anomalies.
The Rogues' scheme revolves around a heist with personal stakes, not widespread destruction. They aim to steal experimental Speed Force technology, for a power boost or as a tool to escape their lives of constant conflict with the Flash or simply to sell it the biggest bidder.
As Wally investigates the anomalies, he faces challenges from the Rogues and his own psyche. Each time he taps into the Speed Force to dig deeper, he loses more of his memories of Barry.
The Rogues, led by Captain Cold, are escalating their activities. Wally intercepts a cryptic piece of technology infused with Speed Force energy. It’s connected to the Speed Force anomalies Wally has been experiencing—a trail he decides to follow in hopes of finding answers about Barry.
Iris thinks Wally is overworking himself, while Linda tries to ground him emotionally. Despite their support, Wally feels increasingly isolated.
In this reality, Barry Allen has never existed and Wally has always been the flash. Yet that's not what Wally remembers. He remembers being Kid Flash, fighting side by side his idol. Now he has to dawn the mantle of flash in his absence.
His memories of Barry are slipping away, leaving him grappling with whether Barry’s disappearance is a natural consequence of the Speed Force or the result of a sinister plan. Wally balances his life as Central City’s hero, a crumbling personal life and his obsession with Barry’s memory.
The first movie opens with Wally West already in action as the Flash, battling the Rogues in a chaotic Central City. Flashbacks interspersed throughout the film reveal Wally’s confusion about why no one remembers Barry Allen, the man who trained him and passed on the mantle of the Flash.
Wally can be the main flash, a reluctant heir to the mantle of the Flash, grappling with the disappearance of his mentor, Barry Allen.
This works so well in The DCU. We can have both the flashes, make Wally more relevant in media as he should be while not completely erasing Barry.
