I am the bread of life, says the Lord;
whoever comes to me will never hunger.

Lord Jesus, open the Scriptures to us;
make our hearts burn while you speak to us.
Crucified and risen Saviour, you will come again in judgement: be merciful to us sinners.
~ Son of the living God, protect your people.

Resurrection by Natalya Rusetska
Jesus said to them,
Amen, amen, I say to you,
unless you eat the Flesh of the Son of Man and drink his Blood,
you do not have life within you.
Whoever eats my Flesh and drinks my Blood
has eternal life,
and I will raise him on the last day.
For my Flesh is true food,
and my Blood is true drink.
Whoever eats my Flesh and drinks my Blood,
remains in me and I in him, says the Lord.
I am the living bread that came down from heaven, says the Lord;
whoever eats this bread will live forever.
"How can we define prayer, except by saying that it is love. It is love expressed in speech & love expressed in silence. To put it another way, prayer is the meeting of 2 loves: the love of God & the love of a human soul." -Catherine Doherty
Let all the earth cry out to God with joy.
I am the bread of life, says the Lord;
whoever comes to me will never hunger.
One does not live on bread alone
but on every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.
Pray that our hearts may burn with love for Jesus.
“The Eucharist is like a burning furnace of divine love- the supreme expression of the Heart of Jesus, burning with love for humanity."
-St. Margaret Mary Alacoque

USCCB President: “I am disheartened that the President chose to write such disparaging words about the Holy Father. Pope Leo is not his rival; nor is the Pope a politician. He is the Vicar of Christ who speaks from the truth of the Gospel and for the care of souls.”
Happy Easter!
“You call me ‘teacher’ and ‘master,’ and rightly so, for indeed I am.
If I, therefore, the master and teacher, have washed your feet,
you ought to wash one another’s feet.
I have given you a model to follow,
so that as I have done for you, you should also do.”
For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup,
you proclaim the death of the Lord until he comes.
When it was evening,
Jesus reclined at table with the Twelve.
And while they were eating, he said,
“Amen, I say to you, one of you will betray me.”
Deeply distressed at this,
they began to say to him one after another,
“Surely it is not I, Lord?”
