Last repost and related threads got me thinking: what even counts as white American cuisine? Most "American" foods are actually German/Austrian or French/African. I can't think of anything that is legitimately originally American. Mac & Cheese maybe? There must be something.

The “British person” in this instance was me; I do find it deeply amusing that, as well as being extremely racist about British Indians and their role in British food culture, this America has managed to name the curry that was most famously created in Britain
