Now I am a 50+ years old man, with severe illness, indebted, a shell of the man I was before, facing the challenge of starting a new life, wounded, broken, and sad.

We talked it through and agreed to end it, no remorse, no apologies, she's happy about this, while I am crumbling, everything aches inside of me.

From all of the sudden my life has no meaning, I have lived a lie.

At first, I questioned myself, What did I do wrong? Was I a bad husband, father, lover?

But, no it wasn't me, it was a mere act of selfishness and disregard for a life built through years of sacrifice.

A few weeks later, I found the answer, while moving data from her old phone to the new one, a conversation between her and her longtime lover showed up, I wanted to die, 30 years I know that woman, down the drain, a sham, a series of lies.

My life parter, my wife for 25 years, said to me that she did not want to be with me anymore, that I should be looking for other women... WTF!

I didn't understand it then, Why your wife sends you off to be with someone else?

A few weeks ago my world changed completely, I am still shocked, I didn't notice the signs, all those little things that were happening before the storm wrecked into my life, I am devastated.
